Abstract

Goal. To reduce the power consumption of technological operations in crop production by the application of operational control of fuel consumption and special means of controlling the operating modes of the machine-tractor unit (MTU). Methods. The possibility of reducing fuel consumption was determined using the principles of system analysis. The synthesis method was used to develop the general structure of the information support system on fuel costs, as well as algorithms for establishing and accounting for non-productive fuel costs. Results. The structure of the complex system of control and management of the operation of the agricultural unit is proposed. Algorithms for determining and accounting for unproductive fuel consumption are provided. To reduce them, it is proposed to introduce certain technical means (in particular, with elements of technical intelligence), and to form recommendations to the operator on changing the modes of operation of MTU. Conclusions. Fuel costs per unit of production in Ukrainian agriculture need a significant reduction. Its unproductive costs are generally caused by organizational, qualification, or technical reasons. Operational control and analysis of fuel consumption during ordinary operation of the MTU, if a complex of automated control tools is used, can ensure their reduction by almost 51%.
