Abstract

Goal. To perform a comprehensive assessment of various options for recycling mine water from the Svystunov beam, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Methods. The study was conducted in 2021 – 2024 using balance methods, methods of combined extreme control systems, scenario analysis, regression modeling, and multi-criteria evaluation. Results. A complex normative-legal, ecological-economic, resource estimation of three variants of utilization of mine waters of Svystunov beam was carried out: with dilution of mine waters in the Ingulets river; an option, providing for dilution of water to standard values before discharge; discharge of mine water through the pipeline into the Dnieper river near the village Marianske. Conclusions. Scenario simulation of the washing process of the Ingulets river and comparison of the results of modeling with the data of full-scale observations showed the effectiveness and feasibility of using the first option for the disposal of mine waters of the Svystunov beam. In conditions of a shortage of water resources, it was recommended to apply modern methods of control of the washing process using the pulse method developed by the authors.
