Abstract

Goal. To establish the effect of soaking the seeds of various radish hybrids in solutions of plant growth regulators on their sowing qualities. Methods. Laboratory (according to DSTU 4138:2002), linear measurements, mathematical and statistical measurements using the standard Microsoft Office Excel 2007 package. Results. Soaking radish seeds of various hybrids in solutions of biological preparations Fitotsyd, FITOHELP, MycoHelp and plant growth regulator (PGR) Azotofit stimulated germination energy on average by 6.5–13.3%, laboratory germination — by 5.6–11.9%, depending on the hybrid. According to the seedling length indicator, it was established that the use of biological preparations Fitotsyd, FITOHELP, MycoHelp and PGR Azotofit, Emistym S in the doses recommended by the manufacturers had a stimulating effect on growth processes, accelerating them on average by 1.3–1.7 times. A high fungicidal effect of the preparations Fitotsyd, FITOHELP, and MycoHelp was revealed, which reduced seed damage by pathogenic microbiota by 46.9–71.4%, 43.8–66.7%, and 50.0–66.7%, respectively. The investigated radish hybrids were ranked according to the effectiveness of the drugs on phytopathogenic microorganisms on the seeds: Donar, Rokstar > > Adel > Eliza, Roleks > Rozetta > Roksan > Stellar. The drug Emistym S suppresses phytopathogens on seeds by 17.9–42.9%. The studied hybrids were ranked according to the effectiveness of the Emistim S drug on phytopathogenic microorganisms on seeds: Donar > Rokstar > Roleks, Adel > Stellar, Eliza > Roksan > Rozetta. Soaking radish seeds in a solution of the drug Azotofit reduced the phytopathogenic background by 6.3–10.7%, while the use of the drug Humisol did not have the proper effect. Conclusions. Soaking radish seeds in solutions of biological preparations and plant growth regulators helped to improve the sowing qualities of seeds and reduced phytopathogenic background, it also stimulated growth processes at the first stages of organogenesis. The compatibility of Donar, Rokstar, Adel, and Eliza hybrids with biopreparations Fitotsyd, FITOHELP, MycoHelp, and PGR Azotofit, Emistym S was determined based on the set of investigated indicators, which made it possible to combine them more efficiently in radish cultivation technologies.
